Your connection options.
Start with the console's video output and the right capture hardware. A docked HDMI connection is separate from a direct Nintendo integration.
The docked video path
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch – OLED Model support TV mode through their dock. That provides the starting point for an HDMI capture setup. For InfinitumView, the rest of the path needs a compatible HDMI-to-UVC capture device and Apple Vision Pro Developer Strap.
Keep the controllers connected to the console. InfinitumView displays the capture input; it does not run Nintendo games or send controller input back to the console. The dock, power supply, capture device and video format still need to be compatible with your exact setup.
Check your console model first
Nintendo Switch Lite does not support TV mode. It is not supported by this docked HDMI route. Do not buy an HDMI capture adapter expecting it to add TV output to a Switch Lite.
Switch 2 compatibility with InfinitumView is an evaluation target and has not been validated. It is not currently listed as a tested configuration. We will name exact supported setups as hardware checks are completed, rather than treating all models and accessories as interchangeable.
Direct Nintendo features
Direct Nintendo account or service integration is planned / pending approval. No Nintendo companion app, wireless Switch screen-sharing feature or Nintendo Switch Online integration is available through InfinitumView.
The upcoming Mac and iPhone/iPad companions do not install on a Nintendo console. For the capture route, follow the HDMI/UVC guide and Nintendo's official TV-mode instructions. Protected content cannot be captured.
