Viewing console video through capture hardware

For a compatible Xbox HDMI source, InfinitumView uses the HDMI/UVC route: console video enters a compatible capture device connected through Apple Vision Pro Developer Strap. Your controller stays paired to the console, where the game runs.

The current app supports compatible UVC inputs, not a blanket guarantee for every Xbox model, capture adapter or video mode. Match the source's output with your capture hardware and consult the setup guide. Protected content cannot be captured.

Remote Play and cloud gaming are different

Xbox Remote Play accesses games running on your own compatible Xbox console. Xbox Cloud Gaming runs eligible games through Microsoft's cloud service. Each has its own device, account, network and game requirements; consult Microsoft's current requirements before choosing a service.

Direct Xbox account, Remote Play and Cloud Gaming integration inside InfinitumView is planned / pending approval. The public app does not provide these streaming services. Microsoft offering a browser or app route does not mean the same experience is available inside InfinitumView.

Where to start

Use the hardware guide for a local console video connection, or Microsoft's official service instructions for its supported Remote Play and cloud experiences. Companion is being built for local screen sharing; relaying an Xbox streaming app through it has not been qualified as a supported route.

Our roadmap tracks future direct integration separately from companion releases. We will update this page when the required approvals and testing allow a feature to become publicly available.
